2 things always amazed me when I worked on a dive boat. One, the fact that nobody ever, EVER wanted a guided tour. I've been diving since I was 12 and that's nearly 30 years(you do the math) so ,believe you me, I can find interesting fish. And fish doing interesting things. The whole reason I was working on a dive boat was to show people how cool the underwater world is. The other thing that amazed me was how fast everybody swam away from the boat. We pick dive sites because there is something cool right there. Under the boat. If the cool thing was 500 feet away we would have put the dive site there.

You got that right. But the money is so much better. Like 5 times as much. And speaking of work and jobs and such for the past month I have been going to school and I am now a journeyman operator. Before I was just an apprentice. So yay for me. Crane school is funny. All day long they tell you " Don't do that or the crane will fall over" or " If you forget to check this thing it will brake and people will die and it will be your fault". Kinda stressfull, eh?

And last week I called up the union hall and guess what? I got a job. A job right close to home. Less than a week after getting out of school and I get a job. I was kinda hoping to spend some time as a government artist ( you know, drawing unemployment) but I couldn't turn down a job so close to home. And by close I mean I could ride my bike. My pedle bike. Again I say YAY FOR ME.

Not sure now. It was going to be on September 9th 2006. But a lot of things have come up. Like Donnas daughter is having medical trouble as a result of a car accident 3 years ago. And her other daughter is having a baby. And we are looking at houses. And Donna is out of work. And this job I have will end in Feb. or sooner. Basically there is too much going on for us to try planning a wedding. Anyways why did you want to know? Were you thinking of coming?
